local care team

For Bethany to be the hands, heart, and feet of Christ we must identify and serve the practical needs of people inside and outside of the church so people may be drawn to Christ.

OUR MINISTRIES

HELPS MINISTRY: Meets the practical needs of people both inside and outside of the Bethany family by providing meals, transportation, help with projects, gas cards, and other practical needs all with volunteers from Bethany.

OUTREACH EVENTS: We look for opportunities to share the Gospel with people through activities such as the Local Missions Week, making Gospel Bracelets, practical projects, literature and conversation with the public about Christ.

COMMUNITY BASED MINISTRIES: We support and provide opportunities to volunteer for ministries in our community such as homeless shelters and food pantries.

mISSIONS TEAM

The Bethany mission field is active internationally but we also consider central Wisconsin an important locale for missions work. We identify and fulfill needs outside of our Bethany family through prayer, financial support, and personal involvement.

Sumy, Ukraine has been the location of our sister church since 2001. Committed to personal as well as financial support, our members have visited the Sumy church many times. We helped them complete their new church building, among other things.

We are active in supporting a missionary family who planted a church in the Philippines, as well as an orphanage there. We have sent youth mission teams to visit them. Other missionaries and organizations we support are in Japan and those who help the persecuted  Church.
