BETHANY STAFF

  • Pastor Joe Carlson

Pastor Joe is a pastor who cares about living, showing, and speaking into the lives of others. He lives to know and love Jesus more, and help others discover who Jesus is. While Jesus was on earth, he showed a different kind of life than this world can offer: Pastor Joe strives to bring that same difference in the world around him. He is always up for a story or adventure: those moments are where God’s truth comes alive!

Pastor Joe does life with his wife Jennifer and two sons, Andrew and David. He loves being with his family, being outdoors, and coaching up his boys in whatever they are playing, especially soccer.

Pastor Joe graduated from Grace University, in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his seminary education at Moody Graduate School in Chicago, Illinois.

  • Patty Fawley- Children's Ministry director

Patty Fawley works with an energetic team to provide engaging Biblical lessons that provide a foundation of truth for young lives to build upon. The Bible is full of stories of real people facing real challenges that are just waiting to come alive in the minds of our children and it is imperative that we anchor them in scripture through stories and songs that will be remembered years later.

Patty attended Northwestern University in St. Paul, UWMC, and graduated from UWSP. She taught elementary and middle school, regular and special education students, with a primary concentration on reading. She also taught reading at Lincoln Hills detention center.

She was married to Andy for 41 years. They have 4 married children and 12 grandchildren, and have been part of Bethany since 2018. Her spare time is filled with gardening and other home projects, reading, writing, music, and enjoying her grandchildren.
